Changelog

What's new.

How to Make a Deck ships continuously. Most recent first.

Objection appendix, authors page, and freshness stamps

  • New /objections/[track] appendix per course: the 5-7 rejections that kill each deck and how to answer them.
  • New /authors and /authors/[slug]: named editorial team with credentials on every essay and course byline.
  • Every course now carries a 'Reviewed [date]' stamp on the index and module pages.
  • Glossary terms auto-link on first mention inside essays, jumping to the exact term anchor.
  • Footer surfaces the most recent changelog entry with its date.

Shareable audit, per-hotspot links, and site polish

  • Audit state now encoded in the URL: /audit?s=... survives refresh and can be shared.
  • Every teardown hotspot has its own permalink: /teardowns/[type]/[slug]/h/[index].
  • New pages: About, FAQ, Glossary, Changelog, Checklist, Nimbus model deck, per-severity browse.
  • Sitemap.xml + robots.txt so search engines index the full library.

Content accuracy pass

  • Every module now declares its dwell source (DocSend measured vs. How to Make a Deck estimated).
  • Audit budget anchored to DocSend's 3:44 full-deck window, not our core-11 sum.
  • Methodology page documents the running example (Nimbus Payroll) as fictional.

Progress and completion UX

  • Mark-complete no longer requires checklist or quiz answers.
  • Module page shows explicit progress bar and next-step banner.
  • Checklist shows an empty-state message so hydration lag never blocks progress.

Start-Here teardown walkthrough

  • New guided route at /teardowns/start-here uses the Nimbus model deck end-to-end.
  • Adds structured analytics: teardown_view, hotspot_click, teardown_toggle, teardown_complete.

Teardown library v1

  • Shipped 24 teardowns across all 11 slide types, each with weak↔strong toggle.
  • Per-teardown SEO metadata + generated og:image for every share preview.
