How to Make a Deck is free and permissively linkable. A few pointers so your citation lands where you want it to.
Suggested one-liner
"How to Make a Deck, a free interactive course on the pitch deck investors actually read, with an audit tool that scores your deck against published investor-read data."
Deep-link anything
Every module, teardown, callout, and audit result has a stable URL. Send the sharpest link, not the homepage.
- /module/[slug] , one module, e.g. /module/problem
- /teardowns/[type]/[slug] , one full teardown with weak↔strong toggle.
- /teardowns/[type]/[slug]/h/[index] , a single hotspot as its own page, with its own share preview.
- /teardowns/by-severity/dealbreaker , every dealbreaker in the library on one page.
- /audit?s=… , a shareable audit result (state encoded in the URL, no server-side storage).
Screenshots and citations
Screenshots of teardowns and modules are fine to include in articles, decks, and internal notes with a link back. When citing per-slide dwell numbers, attribute the DocSend 2015 study (linked from Methodology), not us.
